I'm a girl and, naturally, I really enjoy shopping. I get really excited over bringing home little things, like a new necklace or a new bracelet. Here's just a few (really bad) pictures of some things I've amassed in the past few weeks.
I feel like these shoes almost deserve a post of their own. For "South Pacific," as part of our costume, we were required to have white, canvas Keds, or some lookalike. They weren't supposed to be stark white; they needed to be a little dirty. Anyways, after the last show, while we were supposed to be cleaning up, most of the girls walked around and had cast members sign their shoes. There were well over forty people in the show, so it took quite some time, but I'm really proud of these. I wear them every so often and they make jeans and a tee a little more special.
And yes, under the face on the right shoe, it does say 'Poopy.' It's a nickname.
Kirra, for PacSun.
Okay, well, I've had this in my closet for quite some time, but I've never used it in any pictures and I really love it. It looks great over skinny jeans or leggings (or jeggings), belted or unbelted.
When I tried it on in the store, I had originally tried on a size small, but it fit just a bit too tight, so I went for the medium, but the store was all out. So, I tried on the large and it fit exactly how I wanted it to, not so much as something made for a girl, but more like something you would steal from your boyfriend or brother's closet.

This was originally a blazer that my friend picked up for me at a garage sale for 50 cents. I chopped off the sleeves and stitched up the ragged edges. Voila! We have a cute waistcoat with a hint of a pinstripe.
Delia's. Pin, under collar, from Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia.
I got this as a Christmas present but had decided that I didn't want it because I just didn't like the style. Needless to say, it didn't get returned. Then, a few nights ago, I had an epiphany and asked my mom where it had gotten off to. I like it now. Yay.

I got this the day after school got out. What can I say? It's adorable.
Ann Taylor Loft.
After we dropped my sister off at the airport, sending her on her merry way to France, we stopped by the Clackamas Town Center, where they were having this ridiculous sale at Ann Taylor Loft. This was on sale for about 25 percent off, and there was a 40 percent off all sale items discount. Needless to say, I'm in love with this blazer.
Thrifted.
Please excuse the terrible pictures.
I found this at this massive garage sale a few weeks ago. It had initially caught my eye because I saw the sleeve sticking out like some sort of a sign. I glanced at it and kept looking. About ten seconds later, I stopped and backtracked, giving it a second glance. I loved it. The bow is just so darling, and the little print is wonderful. I've yet to wear it anywhere, but it surely be popping up in pictures soon.
My friend is staying the night tomorrow, so there's a definite possibility that you all might be seeing some of those. Hopefully, my braces will avoid the camera. I look like a tweenie-bopper. Not so yay.
I love all the comments I've been getting. Okay, well, the few. It's still more than I was getting, right? Right.
In other news, go listen to "Faithfully," by Journey. Go. Now.
Blog post ends here.
God, I love your Keds shoes so so much.
